Sinnamon Love
Sinnamon was raised in a small town in Michigan called Flint. Although her parents divorced when she was young, Sinnamon was very fortunate that both her parents remarried and she grew up with a huge extended family. While she was quite the tomboy, she was completely into all the typical girlie things. From an early age, Sinnamon studied Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz, until she dislocated her left knee attempting to stretch her leg on the highest bar at the dance studio she attended.Sinnamon's creative flow didn't stop there. Unable to dance, her mother nurtured her love for the spotlight when her mother enrolled Sinnamon in a local finishing school. At merely 9 years old, she was taught the importance of good manners, poise, grace, style, applying makeup correctly, and posing for the eventual paparazzi. The classes came in quite handy when Sinnamon received her very first modeling jobs, a print ad for a JC Penney's catalog, and a subsequent position as a runway model in a local fashion show.
Sinnamon was always taking part in local talent shows and showcases. Having a mother that was a trained opera singer, influenced her desire to sing. One evening at 12 years old, she slipped into a sequined showgirl gown and a face full of makeup to portray Diana Ross in a school pageant for Black History Month. She remembers the men in the audience being reprimanded by their wives for ogling her lanky prepubescent frame.
Having attending private and magnet public schools her entire life, Sinnamon was a bit of an outcast in her neighborhood. She was the smart girl. At 13, depressed, intelligent and with very few friends, Sinnamon's wandering spirit convinced her parents to allow her to move to Los Angeles for one year to live with her aunt and uncle and their family to go to school for a year. Her experience at George Washington High School was a complete culture shock. Having never attended an all Black and Latin public High School before, she was amazed at how little she knew about the basics of life in the inner city. But then something happened; she met a guy.
After that, Sinnamon was determined to learn as much as possible about sex, seduction and lust. She started scouring book stores for anything that would help her become a connoisseur of sensuality. She began taking massage classes, and studied both Tantra and ancient erotic dance. Her writing, which had once won literary and oratorical competitions became highly charged with sexuality. An energy emanated from her that was undeniably sex. Having never been moved to act before, the acting teacher approached Sinnamon one day to audition for the role of Phoebe, a wanton nymph in Shakespeare's As You Like It. Cast opposite a senior and with blocking straight out of a daytime soap, she teased and flirted her way into throughout each of her scenes. Sinnamon received her very first award, Best female lead in Cal Poly Tech's Shakespearean festival.
Sinnamon moved back to Michigan for a year, but the taste of the big city had gotten to her. She moved back to Los Angeles the summer before her senior year at 15. She enrolled in community college as a high school senior, fulfilling the remaining 15 credits needed for her high school diploma. Later, while attending Santa Monica College, she found herself married to a guy that she not only didn't love, but didn't have the same type of sex drive as she did. A divorce left her the single parent of 2 small children. She decided that staying in school was more important than working 60 hours a week to survive, so she started looking for alternate ways of making money.
